ELCA is proud to be the platform that brings together 27 national associations and associate members, as well as 190 leading companies in the gardening and landscaping sector across Europe.

 

We will meet on Thursday, October 29th, at the City of Culture in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain.

 

Our mission is to bring a European and international dimension to the development of the sector, fostering the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in public policy, innovation, and business management.

 

Today, gardening and landscaping play a strategic role in addressing the major challenges of our time. Climate change, biodiversity loss, and the growing concern for human health and well-being make nature-based solutions essential for building more resilient, healthy, and sustainable cities and territories.

 

These solutions are designed, implemented, and maintained by professionals in our sector, who have the responsibility and the opportunity to transform environmental challenges into social and economic benefits and business opportunities.

 

ELCA aims to lead this transformation, fostering collaboration between countries, promoting innovation and reinforcing the role of gardening as a key tool for building a greener future for Europe.
